The book was written by Dr. Kiyokazu OMAE for his patients to enable them to better understand on the medical treatments given by the author. (The book is by no means a medical thesis for the people engaged in the medical field.)
At present, the book is out of print.
One of the chapters explains the cases of medical treatments on the cancer patients exclusively using Maruyama Vaccine, which has been brought about by the late Dr. Chisato MARUYAMA.

The medical treatment on cancer patients by the author relies exclusively on Maruyama Vaccine without mixing with anticancer drug and/or radiation treatment.
Even though the publication of the book was over 10 years ago, the author has been giving exclusive usage of Maruyama Vaccineh to his cancer patients with good results.
The comments from the author for the Japanese-version Home Page
1) At present, Maruyama Vaccine treatment is approved by health insurance only when it is given together with anticancer drug.
By following this method, not only the cancer cells but also the lymphocytes that kill cancer cells are also killed by anticancer drug.
Accordingly, to see the effect of Maruyama Vaccineh treatment, we have no choice other than giving Maruyama Vaccine exclusively which is not approved by health insurance.
At the public hospitals such as university hospitals and national hospitals, anticancer drug and/or radiation treatment is given whenever Maruyama Vaccineh is used.
It is quite natural that the effect of Maruyama Vaccine is not recognized at these hospitals.
Under such circumstance, many doctors in these hospitals say that Maruyama Vaccine is not at all effective to treat cancer patients by such expression as "Maruyama Vaccine is just like plain water".
2) According to the cancer treatment experiences of the author, slightly less than a hundred patients, it is obvious that Maruyama Vaccine is very effective against cancer cells originated from Colon Cancer, Breast Cancer and Lung Cancer.
I used to think that the effect of Maruyama Vaccine is not good to cancer cells coming from Liver, though, I recently (beginning of the year 2005) found that the Liver cancer has been completely cured after continued injection of Maruyama Vaccine exclusively without mixing with anticancer drug and/or radiation treatment in the past 4-5 years.
It is the fact that there are differences in the effect of Maruyama Vaccine treatment depending on which organ is the source of cancer.
I have noticed that Maruyama Vaccine is effective against Pancreatic cancer as well. The cases I treated were all advanced ones with masses of cancer tumors, however, I have noticed the effect of relieving pains and in prolonging life of patients.
It is clear to me that the treatment method of Dr. Chisato Maruyama using Maruyama Vaccine exclusively without mixing with cancer drug and/or radiation treatmenth is effective to cancer treatment, and it is correct that there is no bad side-effect for the patient.
3) Examples of the cancer treatments which showed good results:
a) In the cases of surgical operation was made;
The patient who has started treatment with Maruyama Vaccine from 3 weeks or more in advance to the operation, it has been noticed that the treatment effect of Maruyama Vaccine has been good.
b) In the case of cancer in the place where surgical operation was not possible;
The patient's pain decreased and/or vanished, and the patient's appetite increased after 2 or 3 weeks of starting treatment with Maruyama Vaccine, and the patient could enjoy normal daily life.
4) The author has noticed the following effects by treatment of cancer patients relying exclusively on Maruyama Vaccine.
a) The patient's pain decreases and/or vanishes, and appetite increases. The patient is able to spend normal daily life.
b) Even when the tumor metastasized, the cancer tumor does not grow bigger as far as the size is not so big as several centimeters in diameter, and the cancer cells in the circulating blood are killed.
c) Usually, the new metastasize of the cancer does not take place as long as Maruyama Vaccine is injected.
d) There is no bad reaction at all by Maruyama Vaccine treatment.
Maruyama Vaccine is NOT expensive.
The person who has placed this Home Page has noticed that many people know the name of Maruyama Vaccine, though, very few of them has the knowledge of the aforementioned effects.

Maruyama Vaccine for 40-days usage (10 containers of A-type and another 10 containers of B-type each contains 1 cubic centimeter of Maruyama Vaccine) is Yen 9 thousand plus consumption tax (currently 5 %) since December 1981.
To obtain the first 20 containers, it is required to get them at The Research Institute of Vaccine Therapy for Tumors and Infections Disease, Nippon Medical School Hospital in Tokyo.
If the patient and/or family wishes, 20 containers of Maruyama Vaccine can be supplied by mail from the second time (Postage: Yen 1 thousand to any part of Japan).
